Chill Charlie TV

As a mom of twins, I wanted to create something special for kids in the elementary years (ages 5–10): a character who feels like a real friend, talks openly about everyday challenges, and encourages positivity.

That’s how Chill Charlie was born. Inspired by my twins’ love of surfing, skateboarding, and flag football, Chill Charlie reflects their lifestyle and the ups and downs of childhood. He’s not just a puppet—he’s a buddy who helps kids understand their feelings and see that they’re never alone.

To bring Chill Charlie to life, I worked with Alison Ewert of Very Happy Puppets, who crafted him beautifully from my design. Using my background in filmmaking, VFX, and editing, I produce, direct and edit every episode. It’s still very much a one-woman show, with occasional help from family, friends, and even my 8-year-olds.

In a world that needs more emotional support than ever, my mission is to create a safe, fun, and positive space where kids can feel seen, understood, and uplifted. What began as a personal project has grown into a vision: to share emotional learning, resilience, and positivity with as many children as possible.

Chill Charlie is here to listen, to laugh, and to help kids ride the waves of life with confidence.
